‘Agua ‘e Coco’ is a genre-blending project fusing Afro-Caribbean rhythms like reggae and bachata with the soulful grit of hip hop, R&B, and pop—rooted in diasporic storytelling and bold melodic flow. This project is a 3 pack promoting a two sided album on the way. Kaovanny is expressing her love for Mother Earth and the ocean, using it as a metaphor throughout the project. Although Kaovanny’s music has always been bilingual and bicultural, her recent relocation to her home land, the Dominican Republic has heavy sonic influence in this chapter of her music.

Kaovanny’s reggae single, ‘War Cry’ is gratitude, praise to God and strengthening affirmation for those who have no words left to describe their personal battles. The song encourages you to cry out to God for proof of love when you’re in doubt and to walk in confidence when it’s time to ‘step into your power.’ The war cry itself was inspired by the sounds in Bob Marley’s ‘Buffalo Soldier’.
