Kaovanny’s latest reggae single, ‘War Cry’ is gratitude, praise to God and strengthening affirmation for those who have no words left to describe their personal battles. The song encourages you to cry out to God for proof of love when you’re in doubt and to walk in confidence when it’s time to ‘step into your power.’ The war cry itself was inspired by the sounds in Bob Marley’s ‘Buffalo Soldier’.

Accompanied with poetry and classic Salsa samples, Kaovanny uses the diversity in her existence to give language to all that is addressed.
